How long is a 21ft boat on a trailer. Tongue to prop. I'm about to buy a new house and need to know how long the garage needs to be to fit the boat in.

It's prob safe to measure urs, I'm sure each boat is different. Mine is 27 ft from tongue to prop when it's on motor toter. I keep it in a 10x 30 storage

Many of the manufacturer websites will give lengths of the boat with the motor down and/or with the tongue folded. I'm only listing Skeeter as an example because I know it's handy, but I've seen many of them give this info.

If you don't have the boat yet I would strongly suggest to go measure whatever you intend to buy at the dealer. I bought a 2016 Skeeter zx225 and used their website for measurements and they were wrong. My boat was 10" longer than their numbers.

I have a TR20X w/Bob's 10in plate and it takes up all of the 25 ft length w/trailer tongue folded. Only 2 inches on each wheel to play with also. Difficult after a few cold ones.

You will probably have to put it in at an angle to fit boat on trailer in any standard house garage. My garage it 22 ft (a lot are only 20) and with the fold away tong in just the trailer fits with about 3 sheet of paper between the tongue and the garage door.
