Looking for a few suggestions. What I would really like to do is sit down and talk with a Financial Advisor who isn't trying to convince me to move all my assets to his company. I have things spread all over the place and I would appreciate someone to look at my current holdings and help align them. I just feel my money could be working better for me. I am willing to make a change but I don't want that to be the focus of the meeting if it is not necessary to accomplish my goals.

Will all of these guys work for an Edward Jones, Ameritrade type company? I am more than willing to pay an appropriate fee. Just need a little direction.

Get a Certified Financial Planner. They have fiduciary responsibility to you, not their firm.

Z&D Investments is all you need to know. They tripled my annual earnings in 8 weeks.

You can marry, just don't have kids.

I rolled all my plans into a single self directed IRA account with Fidelity. Lot of options to invest in and stock trades are $4.95.

I rolled my company 401k into an IRA with Vanguard. Put it all in a balanced index fund specific to retirement. Low fees. Low maintenance. If I feel like I need advice, Vanguard can provide me with direction. I’m comfortable with my decision.

My wife and I both got above 19% in our 401k's. Been an awesome year.

I highly recommend TIAA/CREF. Nonprofit set up by Andrew Carnegie for college professors. However, there is now a side that the general public can get in. Lowest fees in the industry and always free advice. They are one of the good guys out there as Scott Burns once said in his Dallas Morning News articles.

Sounds like you’re looking for a fee only advisor with a CFP. Realize a good one does not work cheap. You can find one using the CFP website.
