So many dead trees from the flood has the creeks looking like something out of a horror movie. Took a trip down nails creek this Saturday in search of fish. I took this photo on the way back.

Believe me, I worry about those dead trees falling over when the wind picks ups. Careful to paddle around or quickly under them when I'm out.

Believe me, I worry about those dead trees falling over when the wind picks ups. Careful to paddle around or quickly under them when I'm out. Yup, I had a branch fall on my shoulder this summer. I was wearing headphones so I didn't hear anything. Pretty scary, couple inches from landing on my noggin. Cool photo though.
Don't worry about the mule, just load the cart

Nice picture. Now is the time to check out the creeks. Snakes and insects are not a problem this time of year. It's also a good time to make some trails!
