I know I need to re-prop but before I pull the trigger I would like to hear what others run. Mainly Skeeters and Champs with 200+. Right now I have a Michigan Whheel Apollo in 15-1/4x19. I am about 400 rpms low at WOT and full trim. Problem is the only way I can get to 5400 is full trim and I start to lose some grip. I can run fine in straight line. Looking at Pro Tech OLS3 in 15-1/4x17. I know wth my Ranger that 2" would change RPMs by 300 or so not considering other things like cup. I am about to pull trigger on this prop but thought I would seek out others with similar boats. Motor is running good and I have played with motor height. I believe that I am close on height for the prop I have. Boat runs best with current set up with 1/2 tank of gas but with 95 gallon tank I don't run 1/2 tank too much.

Let's get the right wheel, that's a fine hull needs to find it's potential.
Is it the tunnel or V hull?
Where is it going to get used the most?

V, used mostly on inland lakes. Texoma, Twok, Fork, Hubbard and Lavon. Open water. Ran boat Texoma in a 15-20 north wind blowing right down Washita and boat did great. Probably roughest conditions yet. I know it can run better than what it is with the Michigan. So far all suggestions have leaned to the Power Tech.

I like powertech for tunnel boats. Maybe the TR 04 on yours

That boat runs good with a Yamaha m but for all around I would put a trophy and go fishing.

Hole shot is great so not worried about. Just need to get the RPMs up. Never have thought much of the Michigan Wheel props. I actually tried my Tempest Plus 14-5/8x23. Surprisingly it ran as good or better on top end and had more grip.

No doubt, tempest does run good on that boat.
I don't like to call anyone's baby ugly, but that michigan wheel is pretty ugly.
I also don't like spending other peoples money, but I'd take that tempest to Steve at fork and have him work it to get your rpms right. That would give you exactly what you want.

I sold the Tempest along with other props when I sold Ranger. Thought about having Steve work the Michigan but he said not a good idea. Yes I think it is a turd. Tempest in a 19 might be a good fit. Tech at Pro Tech thought an 18 would be right but not sure that would get me 300 more RPMs but it might with the added cupping.
