My parents are looking at houses on Cedar Creek this week and asked me what I knew about the lake. Ive seen discussion about certain parts of cedar creek being pretty rough(drugs, theft, etc.). I tried searching and couldnt find the posts. What can we learn from the OT?

Like every where else, good and bad
I know a couple of guys that have houses over there and love the area
Talk to neighbors in the area, they usually tell it like it is

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Depends on the areas of the lake. Some are nice and some are rough.

Meth is popular around the lake, not so much on the water front

I've seen strange things around Gun Barrel City, especially around the WalMart.

Stay away from Log Cabin , Cherokee Shores , Oak Harbor , Indian Harbor just to name a few. As stated above , Star Harbor area is nice and the Key Ranch area as well. Pinnacle Club is very nice , but can be very expensive depending on what your looking for. Heatherwoods is a nice addition as well. Enchanted Oaks and Enchanted Isles also are good additions. I know there are more good and bad areas , but these are just to name a few. Get with a good real estate company and they can help.

Well I saw a few posters are from there and I hate to make them feel bad. All you have to do is spend a little time there and the nature of what your dealing with becomes clear.

I have a place in The "Trade Winds" area of Tool. I love it. Call Janice Haney with Ebby Halliday. She can answer all of your questions.

Biden famously said in the New York Observer, “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”
