Any tips ? I have been hitting Whitney and the river some lately.
I have even learned deadsticking somewhat.I would like to hear your thoughts on what part of lake and how deep to look now?

With the warm up this weekend after the severe cold some active fish will move up out of the deep water on the edges of flats, points, and humps.

I'm not that familiar with Whitney, but here at Cedar Creek I am able to find and catch whites and some hybrids on tops of humps that are 20 to 26 ft deep on top. And this is since the last cold snap with water temps now down to 43 degrees.

If its a bluebird day it can be tough.
The worse the weather is the better the stripers like it.
Cold, misting, foggy. Pretty much if you dont want to be out there there its on!

I always tell everyone no matter if there customers, friends, or family.....Go fishing if you get the chance.
We have so much information the days you can find a million reasons not to fish.

The only three reasons you shouldnt try is wind, hard rain, and electrical storms.

Great advice. No need to wait until old age to go fishing. Do it now!

One 10-pounder is better than ten 1-pounders; but 100 1-pounders is ok too!
