I assume you mean Minnkota Spotlock.
iPilot has Spotlock with its built-in GPS and works with no sonar unit attached or even on the boat. It is not sonar based.
iPilot LINK is the same but can be connected to a Humminbird compatible unit to have Follow-the-Contour with added Lakemaster mapping. Link also gives you more memory space for iTracks and Spotlocks (waypoints).
