Who was it on TFF that was getting trips down to Mexico by driving and taking their own boat?

That looks like Chicago's south side and LA's Compton area or even Miami or Philadelphia
that nonsense is not just a Mexico thing .......
it is just not an everyday occurrence to the guys that fish FORK, SAM RAYBURN & TOLEDO BEND
or pay $5,000 to go fish for Peacock Bass.
Nor should it be ..........

Just last week the finance manager for the City of Imperial Beach, CA was gunned down. What I thought was odd was that witnesses said it happened at 4am. I would not call that taking reasonable caution.

I really want to make a trip to Comedero and will try to make it happen within the next 12 months. But these advisories have me concerned. I can easily go to Falcon, Amistad or Rayburn instead

There's certainly dangerous places you don't venture into at night over there. I've never heard of an incident at any of the actual fish camps. You go off into one if the cites you're asking for trouble
