87. Isn't that what the owners manual say?

When I bought my first boat I was told to always run the hottest gas I can buy. Thought I would save some money and ran 87 on one fuel load and regretted it. Starting and performance is much better on the 93 oct.

Probably just as important is to buy fresh gas from a high volume station. If you can get ethanol free, even better.

Check your manual and run the recommended octane.

Use Quikleen with every tank.

If motor was built by the racing division, run Premium Plus oil. All others run DFI.

87 octane minimum for Pro XS and 91 octane for Pro XS Racing. If it was mine, I would add 150-1 oil in the fuel w/Sea-Foam 1oz. per gallon. This is to help the compressor.

87.. No need to run that 89 or 93. 87 is no problem. That's what the owners manual says to run in the Pro XS Optis
