looking at purchasing a 2002 kenner. I want to put on a bimini top but not sure on width and such. Does anyone have any input on these?

They are pretty generic fitting. Measure the length you want covered and the width of the boat where it will be mounted and sometimes you have a little option in the height but not much. The frames are a little flexible so as long as your width is in between the description width it will work. Once you put the straps on and cinch them down it is pretty stable. I forgot to take mine down a time or two and it survived highway speeds. When you measure, take into consideration on the length so you leave enough room up front to keep from interfering with casting and head room to step up onto the front deck.

I'm not familiar with that boat but I'd suggest getting the rail slider kit with it. That way you can make minor adjustments as needed forward or backwards and it will let you slide it to the proper location when you store it. I mounted the rails inside the boat so when I store it, it lies flat onto the back deck rather than resting on top of the boat.

The top that I bought was just one of the cheap ones off of ebay. I've had it for about 3 plus years and it still has held up well. No real need to buy the expensive brands.
