Shooting docks in 18 to 25 ft of water on Leon had been producing good numbers and size before it got really cold. My buddy hasn't been out since b4 Christmas but it was hot b4 then.
Politicians, baseball players, high-powered corporate CEO's they all seem to eventually let us down. Nature, however, does not. Look to her for inspiration and you will learn the secrets to living a good life. The most Important lesson it would seem is to make sure you spend as much time fishing as anything else.

I went to Leon today. I got there at about 5A.M. and fished till 11 and only got 4 fish and had 3 other bites. Never got one bite for 3 hours. Three other guys were there before we got there and they only caught one so I guess I didn't do as bad as they did but the bite is definitely off right now.
You never want a drink of water till the well runs dry

went to Leon last week and had 20 keepers on Wed. went back on friday and only caught 6 keepers LOL. the ones I caught were solid fish. I might be back out this weekend since the cold weather has moved back in. some of my best days out at leon have been during the windy nasty days.

Yes Sir, those days when you have to slide down the walkway on the ice!!!!  BTDT!

Stayed the whole weekend. Had to work pretty hard every day except Friday. It is still hit or miss, go of there is a north wind, if it is blowing from the south to west, stay home.
