I have 2 that are both equally great, hard to say I like one over the other:
1- Kistler Helium 3 - Light/Medium Heavy 6'8"
2- Alpha Angler Slasher

Both rods in that $200-250 range and have perfect tips for topwater baits.

Impulse Rods: Go to their website or call them. 281-259-4437. This is a great group to work with.
For the quality of blank you get along with the finished product you cant beat them.
You can start by looking at the below. They have others that might be a great fit.
ZR68TW Zell Rowland Topwater Energy Series $149
IMP68TW Zell Rowland Topwater Rod (Best 1/4 - 1/2 oz. yellow magic-popper style bait rod I've come across) $234
