Last Saturday guy named Todd Beaty caught this monster at Lake Chickamauga. Weighed 14.53. Only liked a few ounces breaking the state record. Caught it on a Tennessee rig in 6 FOW. Proves bigguns can be caught when it's cold.

Yep, they don't get that big just eating when it's warm.

In Tennessee you can only have 3 hooks/baits instead of the 5 like on an Alabama rig.

According to the guy that caught the fish it was a Tennessee rig ( 3 hooks )because it's against the law to have more in Tennessee. If you google 14.53 bass caught in Tennessee you can read the whole story.

Same thing....they do it California with 5-7 baits but only a few have hooks. The toads eat the back on anyway if rigged properly
