Had a GREAT year!  I also really enjoyed reading all of the post not only in Bluegill Section but all the other sections of the TFF as well! Also met some new fishing buddies!  Hope to have even a BETTER 2018!  Stay safe out there and may everyone have a "HAPPY NEW YEAR"!

2017 was a great year for us. This was the first year we targeted crappie. We caught the most fish in one day than we had ever caught before easily over 200 and had one c&r waterbody record for a white crappie. It was a great year! Looking forward to 2018 and all the new fish waiting for my bait

2017 was less than stellar. Too much work and being self employed, I just couldn't walk away from money on the table.
This has to change.

2017 was my best year ever for bluegill. Really looking forward to 2 0 1 8 ! ! ! Happy New Years guys !!! One of my favorite 2017 bluegills -- caught him on the Nightcrawler/Maggot Combo #1

Had a really good year but not sure if I would call it great. Got lots of big sunfish, good number of bass, a few crappie and some cats. Would have liked more cats to call it a great year. Did catch a lot of trout in my native CO and here in TX.

Not quality bass, but quality everything else in numbers. Best was catching fish mostly on lures I made myself.
