Was easy pickings again on the big pond. Started the day off with a solid 10lb fish and it only got better from there. We were deadsticking structure in 20-40 fow and that produced most of the big fish. Played with the birds a little in deep water but mostly smaller fish. We did find one group of birds at the end of the day that had bigger fish under them. If you find some loons working the bigger fish are in the area. Didn’t keep count but prob caught 50 fish 5 of which were under 20” also managed a few sandies that were good size. Released all the fish to fight another day.https://imgur.com/a/nAA0b

We saw ya'll there out by the islands, looked like you were having a good time. We were casting to them and doing ok but the depth they were I can see how deadstick presentation would be effective.

They were stacked on the east side of north island. Dead sticking produced the bigger fish.

Wow, nice ketch all around. Did you get a chance to weigh the sand bass shown being held by your son? Looks to be pushing 4.

I should have weighed but we were in a feeding frenzy and snapped a quick pic then threw him back. My guess on him was 17” and prob a tad over 3 lbs. sure was a fattie!
