 Battery Charger question

I have a 12v dual bank charger. It has two lights on it, indicating power on and charging. The power light works but the charging light does not come on during operation.
Other than waiting for my batteries to discharge and see if the charger is working, is there any other way to tell if the unit is actually working?

Issue quickly resolved. I hooked up with Wes and Bill and it was determined that the charger was bad. Got a new one on the way and an appointment for installation.
Great service by Wes and Bil at Lake Fork Boat Restoration. On Christmas eve no less, not to mention Bill's birthday. Can't beat that. Thanks guys.
