His name is Randy Suillivan. I just thought I would let everyone know we have a new young gun on the elite series representing West Texas. Im note sure if I’ve ever seen or met an elite from the bigger side of Texas. Hope he kills it!

Back away from the beer slowly. Sullivan will be fine out there with the big boys!

I hope he does great but I guarantee you he won't fish any lakes like we have out here in West Texas on the Elite trail.

His resume is impressive in what short time he's been competing out of college, not sure I've seen someone qualify so quickly, I believe he made cuts in 5 out of 6 BASS OPENS.

He should have made it last year. Engine trouble kept him from making it to weigh in and he missed it by a few ounces if I remember right. He'll do good.

Randy is a hammer!! He’s also signed with the Texas rod company McCain Hi-Performance fishing rods! It going to be a blast watching this young talent hammer on them this year!

He better bring his AAA game. It's tough out there. I like to see guys who aren't scared to give it a go and make it but it's super hard to do. You only have two years to be inside the cut or you are out. You can't afford many hiccups. You also need to catch them a variety of ways across the country. In any given year the tournaments scheduled may not line up well with your strengths. You need a few friends on the tour to travel with and help you stay inside the 50 cut when you are struggling. Doing it alone is maga difficult. The zero info rules once the schedule has been announced will make it tougher on the first year Guys.

Good luck to him.
