Rain, Fog, Thunderstorms...we saw it all today. We were still blessed despite the weather and managed to squeak out a Double Limit again for the second day in a row. Dad had a bite from a non Crappie...enjoyed the fight. He was using his 5'6" ACC Rod and managed to land it on a Crappie jig. As you can see it wore him out. Tight Lines To all!

Worth the memories! Nice job!
I would rather die finding out there was no God than die finding out there is.

Sweet Grape in Slim Boy today. Looks like Sour Grape Slab Bandit.
The cloud cover was so dark they liked the darker baits today.
Yesterday it was Wild Watermelon and Electric Rooster, but today they wanted Sweet Grape.
Crazy Crappie...We gave them what they wanted.

Great couple of days. Thanks for sharing. I've received my two orders, now I just need to go crappie fishing and leave these trout alone. Took my daughter yesterday in the rain and we ended up with 5 trout in the box from 16-20" in about 3hrs fishing. She lost the best fish of the day on her 2nd cast. I don't think she was expecting it. I happened to look back there after I felt the boat "rock" and there she was pulling and cranking and the fish was at the surface. Before I could get out "don't horse it" it came unbuttoned. Oh well, we still had a great time before she had to head back to San Marcos. Plus, we were the only boat on "the creek". >E
Columbus took a chance and he made it.
