Lew's Laser MG or Shimano Caenan 150
both at $80.00

I'm sure both are fine lower cost reels, but just wanted see if anyone has feedback (good/bad) before I make my decision.

Never used the Shiano. The Lews is a good reel though. I have a few of the MGs and no complaints from me.

read some positive reviews today for both so I guess I cant go wrong, at least not at that price point

I use both reels and favor the Lews but with that being said the Shimano is a very good reel for the money also.

Never fished a Shimano. Lews I have and are repairable just like Shimano. 🍊

If you want a reel that will last a decade, buy the Shimano....

If you want a reel that you will have to replace in 3, buy the Lew's...

Thats my money fish
