Myself and good fishing buddy Steve fished the trout stocking at the Blanco River. The temperature was 35 degrees with a light rain. We started fishing at 11:30 a.m. about an hour and a half after the stocking truck made it's dump! There were three anglers there counting myself and Steve. We both had our limits in 20 minutes. We caught about 10 more fish and we kept 10 for the frying the pan. Gold Super Duper Lures and Berkley Trout Bait Cheese colored were used as baits. Fish were very active. After a super time catching some trout we had lunch at the Dairy Queen located in beautiful downtown Blanco Texas. Catching a double limit of Rainbow Trout with my good fishing buddy Steve! It just don't get any better!

I wondered if you were going to brave the weather and knock 'em dead today! Nice fish! They look a little bigger than the ones they stocked in the Guadalupe.

Thanks Will! It was cold and wet. If it would have been windy I do not think I would have gone fishing. Had a super time and caught some nice fish. Guadalupe stocking tomorrow!
