Anyone wear Costas with the blue mirrored lenses? They are intended bright, full sun, open water, harsh sun. I want the Reefton glasses but they don't come in the silver mirror lenses which are best for every day wear but they do come in the blue lenses.

Anyone wear the blue for every day wear off the water? How are they? Too dark for every day wear?

I had some. I couldn't see the gps screen. I took them back and got amber.

I have the green mirror corbinas, blue mirror permits, and amber jose. the color is not what blocks the gps screen, it's the polarization. I wear the blue most often, works just fine for everyday use. all three work well in the bay and the blue works best in blue water.

I have blue that I wear while working at a swimming pool in the summer, but for driving etc they are a bit on the dark side.
I have a pair of green mirror for freshwater fishing and everyday wear.

I have to take both off when pumping gas, using the atm, etc.

get the Green Mirror.. works for all conditions.

Blue is for Bright Sun.
Green has a amber tint and is good in cloudy and partly cloudy days.

thanks, i am now considering those or the grey lenses. just have to find a frame i like that has those lenses.

any advice on glass or plastic lenses? i have never had glass lenses. supposed to be clearer and harder to scratch but quite a bit more expensive. is the weight difference noticeable?

Go with glass, you will never go back to plastic.

A little bit different but you'll be happy enough with the clarity that you won't notice the weight.
