Did they remove contours from the app? Fired mine up yesterday. It’s been a while since I’ve used the app, but there were no contours and every time I tried to enable stuff in the settings, the subscribe to navionics + in app purchase would pop up. It was asking for like $50 annual fee.

Haven't looked at it in a long time but I thought the contours was only on the trial version and went away after a short time.

Your subscription probably needs to be renewed. The Navionics app is a yearly subscription.

It is a yearly subscription, was this app for a tablet or a phone?

When you pay for the app, you're paying for one year of use. You have to renew it each year.

Not that I have found, it should still be there. Now, if you removed it from your tablet and added it back later, or a significant release update could mess things up. Your downloaded data might have been wiped.

Make sure you are not on the "sonar charts" layer, though. That will blank them out without a subscription.

But $50 a year isn't right either. More like $5-$10. You can renew it, download more maps for a year, and let it expire again. There have been quite a few user submitted updates in the last few years, by the way!
