Hey Office compadres, still can't drive for a few more weeks, but been having to ride share my broken down ole' butt to work and back for about 3 weeks now.

Off this weekend and may see if a friend wants to go try it out. That said, haven't been there in 6 weeks or more and getting a lil cabin fever.

Feel free to PM any fishing report or whatever you feel like offering up.

Hope you guys had a happy Thanksgiving and have a good end to 2017. Adios for now...

Hello Eric, Guy has dropped into the office on occasion and he reports that it was either real good or it was real bad. Hopefully when you go it will be real good.

I went one time before thanksgiving and the old saying "you should have been here yesterday" still holds on to me. I think I will buy the shirt roflmao

I have not heard from any other employees as to how they have been doing.

Good to hear from ya bud. Yeah, the process is slow. You remember me telling you about that right foot that was bothering me when walking around up there, well, this was the second surgery to correct the first guy's screw up on it. Healing up slow, but getting there. Trying to be patient. Thanks for the heads up. Carp? No bueno!

LOL I hear ya. I get that all the time too: "well, just a few days ago I almost got my limit of keepers", or "you should've been here before the storms, or the last cold front, etc etc". The usual fishing reports and talk. You find a shirt with that, maybe I'll have to get one too!

Thanks my friend. I think I'll pass, though the weather is suppose to be a little warmer and nice with some south breezes this weekend.

Bumpin this to my "Office" compadres. Foot is still sore (still fusing up) when I walk too much, but I can drive! What's the report? Any help on jig type/colors are appreciated too (yeah, i'm sandbaggin' here, since I haven't been in like 3 months).

You can PM me the info, or tell me to go to hell, either way I understand. smile

See ya soon, guys. Thinking of going out Wednesday a.m., since it's 2/3 of the way to my disabled mother in McKinney, so figure kill two birds with one stone.

Finally made it to the slips this morning and caught a few keeps, but only 5 total. Was a beautiful morning before the chill returns Friday.

Likely be a week from this weekend before the next chance to go, but it was just good being back out there again (despite all the chaos and maintenance on the parking lot which I wasn't expecting).

There were a few nice gents I met this morning, fishing in our general slips area. One admitted to not being with the group, but didn't seem to indicate whether he rented a boat slip or not at 121, but made a comment it would be nice to be a part of the group (he did say he fishes with his boat on the lake, so assume he has his own slip). Same with the other guy, but didn't pry with their good nature personality and with nobody else there.

That said, I really sour on someone fishing spots we pay for and not being part of the group with those slips and fishing them while I'm there, but I'm not the slips mafia either. Any suggestions are welcome.
