 250 sh0 verses 250 pro max

buying new 920 proxs had 225 max and never had a problem own merc now all ready put a powerhead on it thinking about 250 sho. pro and con?

What are you asking? 250SHO vs 250 Pro XS? They don't make a 250 pro max. Are you saying you used to have a 225 pro max? Not sure I understand the question.

Sounds like he went from a Yamaha to a Merc and now thinking about an SHO. Key to keeping these newer motors alive nowadays in all of my observations has turned out to be correct additives. Especially with these guys that have to run balls to the wall all of the time.

or maybe.. it's a 225 yamaha VMAX, and he's thinking about going to the 250 SHO.
in any situation.. the 250 SHO has been a great engine for alot of guys.
