I just ran my three old 33’s through the ultrasonic cleaner one at a time until the water stopped turning black and reassembled with some good lube and all three are slicker than snot. Now I need three good cheap rods to make some good pier fishing rods.

I’ll snag old Zebco and Abu Swedish reels on sight.

Back in 1978 I Landed a 7.13 lb Spotted bass on an old Zebco just like that, talk about drag singing !

Holy smoke! I had no idea they were expensive in 1958. $46 in ‘58 is equivalent to about $380 today.

I sent these pics to the VP of Marketing at Zebco/Quantum. He said that was a pretty rare package and surprised to see the wrapper still on.
