not often the water around Galveston is clear, but it's gin clear right now. makes the bite a little more difficult. still got 3 and the day was beautiful. throwing double weedless jigs with a light color on one and a dark on the other. didn't show a preference for either. i think they'll hit anything that lands on their noses. that's if i don't spook em with the boat.
