Was thinking about going to squaw tomorrow but noticed on the website that it looks like registration is filled. What do you think the chances are that I can just show up and possibly get in?

Good chance. I've never actually seen/heard of anyone in recent history being turned away but like you said: "chances". I guarantee you have a good chance! :-) Sorry, good luck.

I thought they held reservations till noon. I'm not about to wait till noon for a no show. You have a better shot of someone leaving early for some random reason

Yep. Gotta be careful. Lots of stumps all over the place. Even in the middle of the creeks on the south end. You can pretty well run along the east bank up to the cut through in the trees, but Id definitely idle past that.

We stay at either Windmill Farms, Tolar, TX, or Dinosaur Cabins, Granbury. Best, safest, and price don't always go together. Expect to pay a little more if you desire best and safest and secure. Too many crackheads and thieves around there for me to stay in a hotel/motel in Granbury. I like Windmill Farms the best. Rent the biggest cabin. It's nice!

Nice suggestion -- Windmill Farms; but I am not taking the wife or grandkids Safe, closest, best ..... then price Always works in that order. I may have to drive back to Ft Worth ? But if I do that I may as well drive 2 hrs back home
