I would imagine by then that most of those fish will have already spawned. As far as long term fishing goes - there are tons of non-power plant lakes in Texas and the fish get along just fine. I'm sure that will be the case here.

They will do exactally what the bass are going to do at all the other coal burning power plant lakes. Adjust to doing whatever the bass do in non-power plant lakes. Dang EPA! :-)

Good question. I wonder if the tilapia would all die off? That made me realize most all tilapia that are in lakes around here are power plant lakes. Thanks for the info guys

I belive the tilapia die after the water reaches bellow 55 or so.

Fortunately, all of those 10-foot flat bottom boats with 6 "fishermen" throwing cast nets will be gone, too.
