Great place to kayak and fish(Nueces Canyon). Spent three days there last spring and had a blast. Camped along the river bank and had shore line lunches. Will be back there this upcoming spring if all goes well with my schedule. woot

We stayed at Neals on the Frio and Chalk Bluff on the Nueces. Both sites are excellent. We had our own tents. Cabins are available at both sites. Neals are pretty good but the cabins at Chalk Bluff could use some remodeling. Both sites are very clean.
