If I were to fish Whitney with a guide I would use Mike Acosta. I have never fished with him, but have seen his results at the ramp. thumb

I follow each of these striper guides on Facebook. You cant go wrong with any of them! Clay Yadon & Patt Small run trips just about every single day, so it'd be tough for me to choose someone different. The guides listed use live bait techniques in lieu of trolling. I'd rather not troll to catch fish...

I have seen Pat fishing after his client has a limit, a big plus!!
A few of these guys almost seem to race to see who can limit out the fastest, see who is first back.

I like Dan Swindal with big D's guide service.

Pat Small has been fishing Lake Whitney for 40 years. I've fished with him 3 times and it's always been great.

Check out my recent post and pictures on Whitney. 20 plus year guide on Whitney. Birds are working and the fish are gorging on shad and gaining weight, great time to be on Whitney.

As with my name, I am an Old fisherman... Whitney has several excellent guides...My personal favorite is Pat Small... But Clay Yadon is a good choice also.. I fish Whitney once or twice a week and see most of the guides fishing with clients... They are always on fish... If I wanted to learn to striper fish, I would book 2 or 3 different guides to learn each ones technique..
