Can anyone tell me what the specs are for the 8' ACC crappie rod? Looking for line weight, lure weight, action, power and weight. Thanks.

I just asked Andy.
He says he never put much thought into that stuff.
He was a Full Time Crappie Guide.
I use 20# Power Pro Super Slick with an 8# Fluorocarbon Leader.
I fish with no less than two 1/8 ounce or 1/16th ounce Crappie Jigs.
I sometimes fish with 5-6 jigs at a time.
I wish I could answer your questions better.
His next shipment is gonna be Spring and all I can do is recommend trying one when they come in.
I'm extremely happy with my ACC Rods.
In the mean time if you need an 8 Footer try Pro Angler.

As Hogon stated about Andy. I never really pay much attention to a particular manufacturers specs. Mainly because there is no set standard and "specs" vary from mfg to mfg. What is a med lt from one might be a light in another or med from another. I really learned this in the golf business with graphite shafted clubs after putting them on a frequency analyzer. I could take a club labeled as "regular" from one company and it would frequency out as a "senior" flex while one from another might frequency out as a "stiff". Again, there are no set standards within the industry. Before all the custom fitting finally caught on I tested numerous sets of off the rack clubs that would range from "senior" to "stiff" within the set. Many times when I did a fitting I would ask the individual what club he hit the best amongst their mid irons. I would take that club and test it to find out what frequency range it was in and that would give me a great starting point with regards to what flex they would need.

Columbus took a chance and he made it.

My friends always make fun of me for using the double rig too much. I'm going to reference this post and then your pictures of two man limits next time they're at it!
