Thank you for posting this. I checked with KIDDE and both of mine (home & boat) are in the recall group. They will be sending new replacements at no-charge.

Thanks again to the forum, one of the most useful things in my life. I had 2 in the house, not checked the one on the boat yet. Two new ones are being shipped.. Simple form to fill out.

Kiddie fire extinguishers are JUNK ! Maybe that's why they are recalling them? But Kidd is a stand up company, voluntarily recalling some 38 million extingushers with no questions asked.
Snowflakes and entitled brats will be the doom of America!

I received my three brand new Kidde fire extinguishers with metal components from FedEx on Saturday.
They sent return labels so I can send the old ones back via FedEx.
