Love fishing this time of year, water temps are down, boat traffic is gone, and the fish are aggressive! Found lots of solid trout on each stop today, and Bobby Sullivan even let a big one get away from him! Lol
A school of redfish found us, as we were working down the shoreline, managed to snag a few out of the pod. Topwaters, pumpkinseed, and strawberry wine worked there magic today from knee deep to crotch deep water.

Don't forget about our winter discount from Dec. 1-Feb. 28, come on down and let's do some fishing.

Nathan, what kind of waders do you recommend for wade fishing this time of year, and later?
Thanks in advance!

I use the Simms G3, i get a few years out of them before any leaks start. most of the time it is my fault. They are pricey, but you can't beat the warranty. I use to use their freestones and headwaters, but for as much as i use them, I was told by Simms they wouldn't hold up.

There are wade lites with neoprene booties. when it does get cold for a day or two down here we just layer up. I use a pair of thermals, jogging pants, and wool socks. most of the time its just thermals and a pair of fishing pants.

Stay away from neoprene waders, because they are just to hot for our water, and the boots that are attached will really trip you up, and weigh a ton when we do have to walk in the mud.
