Well we were going to give Lavon a go today but ended up at Bardwell. It's about 70 miles one way to Lavon, and my friend had a Dr. appointment at 2:00. I really didn't want to go that far and not fish all day. I also saw what Tommy E. did yesterday, (slow), so we will do it another time.
Got on the water about 8:00 and off at 11:00. Went to the shallows first and the fish are still in the 6-7' of water. We both caught a couple. Went to the bridge and caught 1. Moved up by the dam and caught a couple. Then the wind picked up and lake started to white cap so it was time to go. No pictures today and all fish released. 1/16th oz. unpainted, Whatzit plastic in Cajun Cricket. 6'-14' of water. Water Temp is down to 57 degrees. Lake is about 2' low. We need some rain!
