Do you have any specific tweaks to your strategy during the time of the year when your lake is low or being made low from draw downs?

I see this all the time in mapping the lakes that I do for customers. Going back in time to look at the lake at it's lowest point tells me lots of things that are going to happen sooner or later and where the fish are going to be when it happens.

It makes a big difference in the shallows of course and the backs of the coves. The deep water spots; not so much. I pick these spots with deep water close by. The contours with irregular features leading from extremely deep water or the river channel brings the fish into these areas. They still use that same route; but just don't have as far to get to feeding or spawning gournds when the lake is down.

Each person you work with holds some promise to your future success.

I think each lake presents a different challenge. Low water can group fish together. Finding cover that has deeper water on it, or fishing creek channels bends.

Mark stumps for next spring when the water is back up.

Other than that....just fish.
