I know this is a question that has many answers .... with none of them being the perfect and all of them being right ,,,, BUT
WHAT reel would you pair with a G-Loomis IMX Pro 6-8 MHXF to fish T-Rig worms and wacky senkos ???

I am a Shimano and diawa guy. For the money a tatula is hard to beat. I also like the new 8:1 curado I have.

I have them all and there has been so many advancements in the reel business, that they are all good.
My standby reels are Lews BB1s
They are excellent reels, and hold up very well.
BUT, the new line of Diawa reels are the best I've used.
I have the Tatulas, but the CT series are small, smooth, and throw a mile. Then there is the SV series, I pay about $200-$230.00 for them. but man, they throw a long way and they are very difficult to backlash. I can backlash any reels but the SVs are the best for the money.

I am normally an ABU G guy SX & STX
BUT ..... I just bought 2 Diawa Tatula CT-R type from Academy on sale for $99 each
I haven't used them yet but I did not want to put them on the new G-Loomis rods and then not like them and maybe screwing up what I thought about the rods.

I've tried a bunch of reels over the years mostly all are pretty good but the Tatula SV is amazing. I'm in the process of slowly replacing all of my current reels with these. There's a few sellers on ebay listing them for $130ish with free shipping.

If your budget can afford this reel I would do it in a heartbeat. I have several Steez reels and they are awesome.

If you are looking for a great value, the new Curado 200K series reel is great for the $$

I would go with the Steez as my first choice. Next, Lews BB1 Pro, or the Tatula CT. I would also take a look at the Shimano Curado K.

I could not recommend a Zillion TWS or a Tatula. I have both and they just don't cast light baits well. The Steez is a great reel for light baits, but kinda overpriced compared to some of the newer reels that have shallow spools.

I would recommend a Shimano Alderbaran. 50 sized reels are great at casting whacky rigged plastics and even weightless senkos and small hard baits.
