I think this post is referring to the fact that starting in the fall through the winter the lake gets very busy and you can end up parking quite a bit away from the lake.

Now that I retired I will not fish Welsh on the weekends or even on Friday's.

Monti has actually been "off line" from a consistent winter generating/fishing standpoint for a long time.

Welsh is cold right now, 71 degrees yesterday, no smoke coming from any of the stacks...
