Well Dad, Mom, and I could not resist a chance to get out on the water again yesterday.

Trying to get some fishing in before Dad's Surgery next month.

Same exact repeat of our Adventure Monday and we managed to put 42 in the boat yesterday.

Slow and Steady. Slooooowwww and Steady.

Took a Livewell Shot, Took a Picture of Mom holding a couple, and a cooler shot of the first 30.

It was a Absolute Grind yesterday.

We talked to several folks who had only 1-2 fish. Some had NONE.

Pretty sure the weather was messing with them.

Very Few Hard Thumps.

Most bites the line just got heavy or just a very light tick.

A couple times I saw Mom getting bit and she was having trouble recognizing it in the wind.
I would say Mom set the hook...she would jerk...and the rod bent over. Crappie On! banana

She started watching her rod tip more and of course she ultimately out fished Dad and I. woot

We ran into some folks in a Pontoon on our way off the Lake that had nothing yet.

We decided to pay it forward and we gave them our 42 Fish that were already packed on ice.

They were absolutely ecstatic!

Dad, Mom, and I have certainly been humbled plenty of times before by the Finicky Crappie.

We have had fellow fisherman that had a good day offer us Crappie in the past when we had nothing in the boat.

It's a good feeling for sure.

We just happened to have a couple good days this week.

Glad to help out some fellow Anglers that were not as fortunate yesterday.

Regardless, Yesterday was a Grind...

Tight Lines To All! fish

No doubt...yesterday was a tough one. First day since early summer that I had to change colors.

It was tough for me yestdy too & like you said most of the bites were nothing more than a tick although the ones that bit were very nice fish.....
I didn't even record yestdy due to the slow bite & high winds....
WTG one hanging with your parents & taking them fishn.... cheers

Sounds just like my day yesterday. Just about the time I decide to move I'd get a little tap. Congrats on the 42...that's still a very good day with the folks. clap

Tough for me too yesterday. At Lewisville we managed 15 Keepers out of 60 total caught but they were small keepers. All black crappie.

When I view the picture before I add it to TFF there is no orientation issue.

After I submit the post there is an orientation issue.

How do you correct an issue when you don't see an issue?

If I go to add a photo it only lets me choose my photo library on my phone.

Again no orientation problem looking at the picture on my phone.

Awesome post and pictures.

As far as the picture issue, find a young'un and they can figure it out in less than a minute! That's what I do when I have a technology issue.

PS - Keep checking that oil gauge.

I figured it out. I had to rotate the picture 180 degrees to where she showed upside down on my phone and then flip it.

Notice how the rod is out the right side of the boat.

Just turning her 90 degrees did nothing.

I'm gonna try something else.
