Lot of fish caught considering the conditions, still a good time though. Look forward to seeing you at Arlington, holler if you want to pre-fish. Never been on the lake lot of fish caught by others LOL. I'm hard headed and stuck to my deep ways and only got to use that anchor feature on the new ultrex once for the lonely fish I caught. I'll let you know. Im glad the water will still be some what cold, the lake is a nightmare during the warm months.

My daughter lost a fish on her second cast on an unprotected point (boy was it cold, and Dad didn't have the net out), and we proceeded to go biteless for over 2 hours. Idling our way up north to a protected cove, and on the way picked up one on a crankbait, then another two casts later in the same place. Floated over where they were hitting, and it was a tangle of short brush in about 9' of water, with the brush about 3' below the surface. Switched to a worm, and wore 'em out until we were told to get off the lake. That area couldn't have been more than 10' wide and 50' long. They were stacked in there.
