I show about 26-30. I have always been told as far as the trolling motor, graphs don't add much if any unless its a brand new product and a big upgrade and then it will only add about 50-60% of what you paid for those pieces. The tires and batteries are piece the boat needs and add no extra value. I am not a salesman so it may differ from different regions.

I might not be exactly correct.
low retail $25,600.00
electronics I would add probably $1,400.00
Low retail I would put at $27,000.00. Im not going to add every cup holder and toll holder to the price. If it came stock, to me it is not an upgrade.
If has high hours it would go down from there. It is worth what someone is willing to pay. If it has been listed for a while, it is obviously to high.

Can't be exact either, but with the one or two extra electronic ($200 each, can't give more not knowing models, assuming not HDS), I assumed you had a fender and surge breaks....

26,500 - 30,000

I came up with 26,590 low retail imo that is a little high, because this boat should have a 36v trolling motor, also unsure if it has a stainless prop, trailer brakes, trailer wheel type, etc. Kinda hard to book it without knowing exact equipment! Batteries and tires are a given to me.if they are not in good condition then I'm going to back up the value accordingly for the price of replacements.

Ultimately the boat is worth what someone is willing to pay and the bank will finance.

Explanations to pricing a pre-owned boat using NADA

Important: Research and determine the boat Standard Equipment List for the year, make and model of boat you are appraising. With a little computer key board work, you can usually find this on the internet. If not, call the boat manufacturer, most will be glad to assist you.

Do not give NADA credit for any item that is on the boat standard equipment listing.

Only a few boat/motor packages come with a S/S prop as standard equipment. Unless determined otherwise, credit should be given for a 3 or 4 blade prop.

For NADA listed equipment options added at a later time: Determine the year the item(s) were installed. Look up same boat for the year the option was installed. Credit the option amount for that year. Example: On the 2008 Legend A 211 the owner added twin Power Poles in 2012. The NADA value for 2 Power Poles in 2012 is Low Retail $1730, Average Retail $1970. Credit these amounts to the price of the 2008 Legend Alpha 211.

For accessories installed or added, but not shown on the NADA options list, you can determine fair market value for the item(s) using internet price research and credit to the boat price if you wish. Example: LED deck and trailer lighting, electronic mounts, engine covers, etc..

Pricing for the referenced 2008 Legend Alpha 211 DCX

Low Retail....$26,850
Avg. Retail...$30,535

Nada credits given for 2008 S/S prop and 2 color fish finders/gps over 5". This boat came standard with two Lowrance Mark5X fish finders. No credit was given/adjusted for new tires or batteries.

Their will always be exceptions and local market conditions may justify higher or lower pricing.

Hope this information assists TFF boat sellers and buyers.

I've found that boats are rarely accurately priced

The bank will tell you what they're worth.

You'd be amazed how many loan officers don't have a clue on how to correctly book a boat using NADA

since nada let the boat builders get involved with setting the used boat pricing it has gone way up because the more that it books for the more banks will loan on them. in turn this makes the used boats easier to sell so they can move more folks into new boats.

What does it matter?

If it's priced too high, it isn't gonna sell. Too low, and it's "what the seller wanted".

Who cares what anyone asks for anything. You are either shopping and willing to buy or not. It's simple.

People that worry about stuff like this are usually the ones that don't have a penny to spend or a pot to **** in.

IMO.

Almost absolutely correct! Dealers also submit survey annually to NADA with same motivation.
