I have a Lowrance HDS 12 Gen 2 Touch. Is there any way to equip it with CHIRP?

Youd have to buy a sonar hub for it to chirp. Youd be better off waiting until the gen3s go on closeout and getting one (sell the gen2 to recoup some of the money). Unless you find a used sonar hub cheap someplace.

hub for sale in classifieds for gen 2 with transducer .Brand new never installed slewfoot is selling it 400 bucks .

hub for sale in classifieds for gen 2 with transducer .Brand new never installed slewfoot is selling it 400 bucks . Thats a structure scan box for side imaging, it wont do chirp. (Unless he has another post there that I didnt see)

No problem but chirp is done from the head unit. It cannot be added. But if I had your unit I would add that box for the price.

Aye yi yie, if he buys a SONAR HUB he can get chirp sonar. He has no reason for that lss module, side imaging is already built into his graph head. Do not buy that structure scan module and think that youre going to get chirp, the guy above is giving you wrong info. This is what youd have to have for chirp on a gen 2. But it will not give you side imaging and chirp, it only does one or the other!
