How much would you say a one month old, used one single morning G. Loomis GLX 7'-1" Med-Hvy rod is worth? FYI - it was $440 new at Cabela's.

Depends on if you are BUYING or SELLING everything is worth more to the seller than it is to the buyer.......not just a fishing pole. My pappy used to say the way to make money is to find something that somebody wants and to buy it for less than they are willing to pay for it,,,,, then SELL it to them.

$350-$400 if you have the receipt and rod is still in new condition.

I only pay about half of the original cost for something used, have bought many rods , reels, and other things this way, I know it does not sit too well to the seller but before I pay 80 % for used i will just go buy new.

This for me too but I also look around because just because they are selling at one price at a store doesn't mean that you don't find them somewhere else for less than people want for used.

How do they compare to the NRX models? I want another NRX, but I can never seem to find a good deal on one. lol

Slade, I do not lay claim to being a rod connoisseur, but I would say they are ever so slightly heavier than an NRX....but then (to me) they seem slighly lighter than most other name brand rod builders. I actually like the GLX guides better than the NRX....but like the NRX butt cork piece better. Overall I would choose the NRX, but when you throw in the fact that the NRX is $130 more, the decision gets more difficult. I think the GLX is actually a better looking rod cosmetically.
Personally, I have decided (honestly, even if the two were the same exact price) that I like a Falcon Cara better than the G Loomis.....just a personal preference.
