Does anyone here ever bowfish Gibbons Creek Reservoir? I've never bowfished before, but I want to try it out. One of my neighbors said there was plenty of Tilapia in the water & most folks want them out of there. I want them on my grill.

I've been out there with a buddy a few times and had a blast. We caught a ton of fish, mainly on the northside of the lake. I believe the gates close at 6pm, so you'll have to get there a bit early.

I personally haven't had the chance to bowfish it yet but would definitely like to go. If you need some good bow fishing lights check out Outrigger Outdoors Swamp Eye light. I have 8 mounted on my flat bottom and they are awesome, all remote control and color tone will adjust to water clarity conditions so you can see through the water better. At max brightness they are 10,000 lumen. Crazy bright. Website: www.outriggeroutdoors.comKeep me posted on how Gibbons Creek bow fishing goes.
