OK, I will try not to make a short story long. I am in Mickey Mouse land working for the week and as I am waiting the final 45 minutes for my room to available, I decide I can't go back to TX without catching at least one bass. So I grabbed my Lowrider and went to throw a few casts in the little 6 acre lake behind the property and on the third cast hooked a good one, got her to the bank and was totally surprised when I saw her. Well Murphy being who he is decided that there would not be a soul around to take a good photo so I had to make the best of a selfie and some video from the phone. My problem is I was not prepared for such an event as I didn't bring a scale (One rod and a few baits). I did all I could do which is take a length and girth measurement with a tape measure and let her go. My question is for people familiar with this situation is are the weight calculation estimates accurate?
I have caught a 10.01 and held another 12.8 and another 10.2 and this fish was between the 12 and 10 so I guessed her at 11 something before running the calculations. If somebody has had experience with this I would love to hear your input on the matter. Oh yeah she was 27" long with a 19" girth and the Florida bass weigh calculator says 11.7 which is about what I put her at.
Thanks for any input!

I Don't know how to post photos onto this forum or I would post the not so great photos I have and a pretty terrible selfie phone video. If somebody wants to help me out then I can text them.

This is the only image below the 4 MB max and I haven't a clue as to why it turns it sideways and or how to correct it. The primary reason for the post is to get some feedback on if the weight estimation calculator is fairly accurate or not.

I caught a spawned out 26.5 X 19 that weighed 10.5lbs. If your measurements are correct that's probably your low end. Pre-spawn your fish could have pushed 13+. Even from your crappy pictures you can tell that fish was a giant. Well done sir!

Excellent fish. Thanks for sharing. I will bring all the equipment necessary to weight the next big fish; if you will let me just get into that place. No measurements necessary.

Thanks gentlemen, that helps me feel better about the weight estimate! I was just as excited to watch her swim away healthy as I was to catch her. That replica will look good on the wall..
@ Mr. Harper: I appreciate the wingman for the scale, just book a room at the same Air B&B I stayed at and you will have a shot at her or any other fish that are in that body of water.

5 lbs based on pic. Lol yeah had to be that guy. Nice fish. Go with your measurements and calc and call it a day. Definitely a pig can tell by the thickness of the tail.
