I'm wanting to go camping/bank fishing next month and am looking at going to Hickory Creek Park on Lake Lewisville. Does anybody have any better suggestions for north texas camping?

+1 on Ray Roberts
There's another park, I forget the name, which is awesome too.
We used to go bike camping/fishing there a lot.

Cedar Hill State Park on Joe Pool Lake. Camping and a fishing pier. Cabins available. Not sure how far in advance you need to book, but availability in November should not be a problem

I've camped at Isle du Bois before and almost got arrested. Partially my fault though for drinking too much. Park Rangers dont appreciate you peeing on a tree and waving at them while doing it.
