The Ray Hubbard Bass Club will be holding our monthly meeting this Thursday night, October 12th starting at 7:00PM. We meet at Bass Pro Shops in Garland on the restaurant patio downstairs. It's too late in the year to join the Club, but if you are interested in seeing how we operate, feel free to come out and join us for the evening.

Topics for discussion this month include the results from our September tournament on Lake Ray Hubbard. Fishing for little fish was good, but catching keepers was rough! If you finished well, we're going to force you to tell all your Hubbard secrets right before FFAC. We will discuss the tournament coming up next Saturday October 14th on Lake Texoma. We will be fishing from 7:00 - 3:00. Registration and weigh in will take place at Highport Marina. There is a fee of $5.00 to use the ramp there. Full tournament info can be found here in the Bass Clubs section. We will also choose hours for our two day November Championship tournament on Lakes Cypress Springs and Bob Sandlin. Normally we fish a longer day on Saturday and a shorter day on Sunday. We will need to decide which lake we will fish which day

We will be updating everyone on the Fish For A Cure benefit tournament for the American Cancer Society on Saturday October 21st on Lake Ray Hubbard. We can still use a few more donations for raffle prizes. If you can donate a prize, please do! If you need a community event to qualify for the Championship, you will need to participate in FFAC one way or the other. It's your last chance this year. We will talk about the PVA tournament that took place a couple weeks ago. Many of our members participated and as always it was a rewarding experience. We'll have a financial update and where we are with the Championship fund. We will preview next months meeting which will feature Officer elections, 2018 lake selection and By Laws changes. It will also be a last chance to order Club t-shirts and hoodies. Bring some cash or your check book!
