Friday, October 6th, I’m going to a small farm pond I've fished at before. I've caught some good fish there but the last couple of times has been tough fishing. Right now, the water level is several feet low due to the fact we haven't had much rain.

So, I'll be trying Stubby Steve’s Pellet Baits ~ The Fish Food Lure

Smells more like fish food than fish food.
Use it alone or with your favorite lure, for that all-day scent.
Works great to peg cut bait in place on your hook, increase your scent trail.
Available in several colors and two different sizes
Stays on hook all day long.

Also trying "Juiced Up Baits" Bass Gel.

I got them at https://bottomdwellerstackle.com in the Manufactured Baits & Accessories section.

We'll see.

Good job. Make it as real to the fish as possible and they will bite. Thanks for sharing.

Did not get any bites on the pellets or gel. Only caught one fish (about 2 lbs.) all morning on a black/blue lizard.

Good job Dan. A Lizard is a good choice. Is there lots of grass in the water?

No grass. The pond is about 4 feet low. There's a little bit of "grassy stuff" in two corners.
