How many have been fishing the Biffle Bug or similar creature bait with the Hardhead or Strike King Structure Head Jig or similar jointed jig head? Anyone fishing this combo in the "Tommy Biffle method" of fishing them basically like a crankbait? How has it been working? Tips or pointers? Thanks for some real life examples, 361V.

Works very well. I usually reel it slow enough to bounce along the bottom or rocks. You can also fish it the same as a football jig. Let the fish tell you. I use the 7/16 (1/2oz range) for 20' or less and 11/16 or more for deeper. I like to use lightest weight to maintain contact without getting hung up too much.

I really like it around rip-rap and rocky banks. It will catch everything from bass, catfish and drum. Makes for an exciting bite.

I love bottom buggin' when they are feeding on shad. I use the Smoke Silver color & keep it moving fast enough to stay in contact with the bottom.
