anyone ever fished that timber,driving by there last week got me wondering.i have never been to lavon,what is the closest boat ramp

I fished up there about a week ago. It's only about 10 to 14 feet deep. Tons of gar, carp and Buffalo. Cought a buffalo on a shade crank bait and he put up a fun little fight. I even cought some fresh shad and couldn't get anything to bite. But were a ton of big fish on the sonar/side scan, just not biting.
