Does anyone know if the damn is open back up at lake lavon and if so how is the fishing there thanks in advance

If you mean releasing water, no they are not.
Fished out there Sunday and found them in 18-22 ft near brush
|

Do you mean is water flowing out the gates? No it's not. And consequently haven't heard of the fishing below the dam lately
There are no fish in sonic pond EDIT: Except 1 20lb catfish

Did you fish on a boat or on the bank ? I was referring to the dam being open to drive up to it went a few months back and you couldn't even drive to it because it was closed for construction

Caught about 30 fish in about 2 hours, but only 9 keepers.
Jigs tipped with minnows worked for me. Used white and chartreuse and all chartreuse were the colors that worked for me.
